You are not contractually tied to us for any specified period of time. You have the right to cancel your recurring charge at any time before the recurring due date payment. Membership payments are made using a recurring payment system. Please note that we setup a recurring payment plan on your behalf to collect recurring payments based on your initial membership choice. For example if you purchase a recurring monthly gym membership for €23.99 on the 23rd of the month your recurring charge will be every month on the 23rd unless you cancel your account. If you purchase a recurring yearly gym membership on the 23 of the month your recurring charge will be every year on the same date and month. Membership renewals (including renewal charges) are automatic.
All memberships commence on the date of purchase.
Yes. Memberships can only be frozen for medical reasons and require documentation from the members' attending physician. Memberships can be frozen for a maximum of three consecutive months and can only be frozen once in a twelve month period. Freezing commences from the date medical documentation is provided.

Members who wish to cancel a membership can do so at any time before their recurring plan due date.
To cancel your membership, simply login into your account and click Cancel Your Membership at the bottom of your members dashboard. Members who wish to cancel a membership must cancel before the recurring plan date. Beefit Gyms Franchising do not cancel memberships on the members behalf, calling or emailing will not be an accepted form of cancellation and therefore will not cancel membership.
If you cancel before your recurring plan date you're still entitled to use the gym and book classes as you'll have paid up to the end of your recurring plan date. If we were to remove your details straight away after you cancelled, you would not be able to login and book online classes. Your details are removed from our system a few days after your last day as a member.
Yes, this is correct. Online Memberships are not processed by a Direct Debit system. To cancel your membership, simply login into your account and click Cancel Your Membership at the bottom of your profile page. This action stops any recurring payments and cancels your membership.
Yes, there is a once-off joining fee of €10.00 applied to certain memberships.

Pre 18th of February 2014 members who purchased a top up deal will revert back to their recurring plan once this deal ceases as per our Terms & Conditions. From 18th of February 2014 all membership deals are recurring via our join now page only.
Login details are private details only for the members use and are case sensitive, when a member joins, members input their own information which should be kept safe. If you have lost or forgotten your login details, please use our Forgotten Password page.

This is a security feature. Our system will automatically logout any member after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Yes, our Join Now and Members sections of the website is secure. Beefit Gyms Franchising uses Stripe to process and store your personal and billing information securely. Stripe certification in Visa's registry of service providers is enclosed here. Stripe is also a participant in the PCI Security Standards Council. Check out our Security page for more information.
Beefit Gyms Franchising is closed on a selected seasonal dates and when necessary to conduct essential maintenance works to satisfy Health and Safety Requirements. Seasonal Hours May Vary. Members will be asked to leave the gym floor 15 mins prior to advertised time to facilitate staff cleaning and to ensure showering is completed before closing time. Members are not insured before opening or after closing times and therefore cannot be allowed in the club outside these times.
Yes, we may require 3 proofs of ID: Passport and 2 utility bills. Please note that we may require up to 2 days for vetting process.
Yes, members can manage their membership in the members area and downgrade / upgrade their membership type.
Please note that by default, we prorate charges for membership changes. For example, if you signed up on May 1 for a €22.99 membership, you'll be billed €22.99 immediately. If you then switched to a €26.99 membership on May 15, on June 1 you'll be billed €31.99 (€26.99 for a renewal of your membership and a €5 prorating adjustment for the previous month).
Similarly, a downgrade will generate a credit to be applied to your account and used at the next billing date.
Switching plans does not change the billing date or generate an immediate charge unless you're switching between different intervals (e.g. monthly to yearly), in which case we apply a credit for the time unused on the old plan and charge for the new plan starting right away, resetting the billing date.

Yes, Beefit Gyms Franchising will be staffed during opening hours as staff members have to check each members subscription.
Staff need to checkin members and check membership status at all times for Health, Safety and Insurance reasons. Members who are pending or have lapsed are not allowed in until the relevant payment has been made. Please see our Terms & Conditions.
Yes of course. We have a team of highly qualified and friendly Personal Trainers who will show you safe and fun ways to enjoy your experience at Beefit Gyms Franchising. Please see the reception team to book your Personal Training session (Nominal charge applies) we also offer a free 1 time basic orientation to show you the machines. Please note there is no chalk or abuse of equipment allowed. Members consistently abusing the equipment and not using the equipment in a correct manner will be asked to leave immediately and membership fees will be forfeited.
To protect the interest of its business and for the safety and consideration of other members, Beefit Gyms Franchising reserves the right to terminate the membership of any member. Reason for terminating include behaviour deemed improper, monetary gain, and / or behaviour found to breach of the terms and conditions contained herein or any posted rules and regulations through out the clubs. No refund in respect of any fees paid will be made.
The use of facilities at Beefit Gyms Franchising naturally involves the risk of injury to a member him / her or other members or guests, whether caused by the member or someone else. The member understands and voluntarily accepts this risk. The member warrants and represents that he / she has consulted with his / her physician prior to beginning any exercise program. The member agrees that Beefit Gyms Franchising will not be liable for any injury including, without limitation, personal, bodily, or mental injury, economic loss, or any damages to the member, or his / her relatives resulting from the acts of anyone using the facilities or acts of Beefit Gyms Franchising employees or agents. The member agrees to be a responsibility for all liabilities and damages to another member caused by a deliberate or negligent action of the member his / herself. If any claim is made by anyone based on the injury, loss or damage described here, which involves the member or his / her guest, the member agrees (i) defend Beefit Gyms Franchising against such claims and pay Beefit Gyms Franchising for all expenses including legal fee relating to the claim and (ii) indemnify Beefit Gyms Franchising for all liabilities to the member and his / her spouse, unborn child, or anyone else resulting from such claims.
Yes, Beefit Gyms Franchising is not liable for any items lost or stolen from lockers. Beefit Gyms Franchising is not liable for any items lost or stolen on its premises for any reason whatsoever. The Member is solely responsible for safekeeping their personal belongings on the premises.

We are offering a high quality exercise and gym facility with no "frills and fuss" and therefore have opted not to have a sauna, steam, spa and pool.
Yes, this is available at an additional cost either on a one-to-one or group basis. Members cannot bring his / her own trainer and the terms and conditions set by the club are final.

You need to be 16 years old to join Beefit Gyms Franchising, gain a Free Guest Pass or make use of our Personal Training services. However we are looking into younger memberships for families with limited access.
No, we do not currently offer WiFi access.
Yes, there is access to ample parking at the front of the club. Beefit Gyms Franchising is not liable for any items damaged, lost or stolen in areas adjacent to the club premises for any reason whatsoever. Members are solely responsible for safekeeping of their property.
No, as stated in the Beefit Gyms Franchising rules, a small gym towel must be carried to wipe down equipment after use as a courtesy to other members. We do not supply paper towels to keep membership costs at minimum for our members. It would also cause unneccessary waste.
We do not have a cash or cheque option. The only way you can set up membership is by using a Credit / Debit Card.
For all Daily Deal Vouchers, the Fine Print, Terms & Conditions and Daily Deal / Beefit Gyms Franchising Website Terms & Conditions are final.
Please refer to the Terms & Conditions on the voucher and Beefit Gyms Franchising Terms & Conditions which are valid for the duration of the voucher. Advance booking required. Booking is subject to availability as per the terms on the deal voucher and daily deal website. Give redemption code at time of booking and voucher must be presented when using first pass. No other Beefit Gyms Franchising service is part of the deals, the deals are non-transferable and the expiry date is the final date as set out in the terms of the deal. The deals are only valid to customers over 16 years.
